Our Mission
To empower individuals and communities through education, support, and advocacy, fostering understanding of eating disorders and promoting healthier relationships with food. We are dedicated to breaking stigma, providing accessible resources, and cultivating a compassionate environment where healing and growth are possible for all.
My Story
Hello! My name is Concetta Yormick and I am a Junior at Laurel School. I was diagnosed with anorexia nervosa at the age of 12. Although I felt isolated for so long due to my disease, over 50 million Americans suffer from eating disorders, and 90% of those individuals are under the age of 20. These statistics inspired me to create Food4Fuel, a platform that integrates education around nutrition and spreads awareness about eating disorders by bringing workshops into every community. Below is an outline with the four goals and notes of what I hope to achieve!
How You Can Help
Taking the time to educate yourself is the most beneficial way of helping, but if your resources permit, here are other ways to help Food4Fuel
